Dear users,
Thank you for choosing OrangeX. We sincerely apologize for any recent unpleasant experiences you may have encountered regarding SOMESING (SSX)/ SOMESING (SSG). First and foremost, any random potential losses incurred by users due to SSX/SSG tokens will be borne by the platform.
This announcement provides updates on the recent events.
On March 22nd, the SSX team requested a SOMESING (SSX) Swap to SOMESING (SSG). To safeguard user experience and protect user interests, OrangeX supported this request and issued the "Support the SOMESING (SSX) Swap to SOMESING (SSG)" announcement, demanding the SSX team to fulfil their exchange obligations. We provided the holding address and adequate SSX to the SSX team. However, they suddenly accused us, without evidence, of holding assets from hacker transactions, refusing to proceed with the swap. As a result, our users were unable to conduct the swap operation. These accusations occurred without any legal documentation or evidence, and the other party refused to fulfil their obligation to fully exchange SSX for SSG for users.
To prevent users from missing the formal exchange period, we have decided to temporarily delist SSX. While providing SSX withdrawal services, users are asked to handle the exchange of SSX to SSG themselves, disposing of assets that rightfully belong to them. We have also requested legal proof from the other party to support their hacker accusations. However, as the SSX team failed to provide such evidence and maliciously locked our SSX holding address, users are currently unable to withdraw their assets.
OrangeX will not and does not have the right to freeze user assets without cause, let alone harm users' interests without evidence provided by the other party as required by law. Such malicious actions completely violate the spirit of web3 and user trust.
Despite our multiple attempts to communicate with the SSX team, substantive progress has not been made. OrangeX adheres to stringent compliance standards, ensuring users experience a more secure and transparent trading environment. This incident is a result of malicious actions by the SSX team. We will firmly defend the rights and interests of platform users, taking legal action if necessary.
Thanks for your support!
OrangeX Team
